[AVP - In The Middle]

I want more!

When I first heard that damn over-used song by Disturbed in the beginning, I expected another overly lame toon. But it was surprisingly well done! The only problem is it cuts off when it's about to get good! ;)

Good concept...

But it was kinda ruined by all the swearing. I mean, there is a place for swearing in comedy, but this film really isn't it. The cussing really just degraded from the humor. A good idea though, and good animation.

Fantastic!

Looks just like something you would find on Nick or the Cartoon Network! It's not as funny as I would have liked, but it makes up for that with it's style and the superb animation. I hope there is a way to combine these short clips into one long one when you are finished with them all! :)

Great Concept!

It reminds me of some of Frank Peretti's classic novels, like "This Present Darkness" and "Piercing the Darkness". Awesome 3-D graphics, but the guy before me is right, the fighting is a bit odd. I would focus on making the movements quicker and more natural looking. Also, the music didn't quite seem to go with the fight scene. Finally, voices would really add a lot. Maybe add some cool filters to them to make the demons sound really evil. Good luck on the next one!

Awesome first submission...

If it weren't for the crappy ending, it would have been excellent. When you make something out to be a serious movie and then try to make it funny, it better be REALLY funny! Other than that, great job o nthe MC models, the weapons and sounds, etc etc...

Excellent animation, apropriate music, astute attention to artistic detail. That was fantastic. I love the sillouetted fighting against the sunset. The hole thing was just very well done, even for a "cliched" sword battle.

I realize there are many "cliched" sword battles. Thats why I tried to keep the action going and vary the fighting alot. I also thought the ending would make the movie seem like it actually had a point, instead of it being a "Random Battle".

Great job, comet! This one is definitly a lot better than your previous few. I can tell it was planned out quite a bit more. Great plug to the fan artists! I'm throwin this one on the HBN front page!
